Our client has a permanent vacancy for an Events Manager. You will be working with the senior members of the business where your role will be to plan, execute and measure company wide events and hospitality programmes. With a mixture of customer audiences, targeted sectors and internal and external events and hospitality you will be capable of managing all aspects of their event activities. From conception to creative, from planning to execution, you will lead the virtual teams to deliver what is needed to maximise the event or hospitality they are present at. You will be experienced and capable of both organising and hosting events on beheld of the business, confident in your ability to network and customer focused in your approach so we deliver high impact events that last long in the memories of their customers and teammates. You will work within the Marketing and PR team which is responsible for attracting and retaining all of their customers. You will have a vital role to play in creating the right impression of the business within the minds of their customers/prospects and or audiences that get to see them through events and hospitality. Your role will include: • Organising attendance to external events ensuring the right representative(s) are fully informed of delegates, logistics and stakeholders. • Planning and executing all hosted events (including the flagship event the Advisory Board). • Planning and executing internal employee events for Teammates. • Managing attendee databases (internal and external) invite lists and delegate schedules. • Proactively work with marketing and the wider business to identify keynote speaking /sponsorship/attendance opportunities that support marketing plans. • Manage related event budgets including managing and negotiating with 3rd party suppliers including ventures, designers, AV companies and collateral production houses • Actively manage the end to end ‘event calendar’ to ensure attendance at all nominated events • Implement guest satisfaction measures to ensure they continuously improve their events and hospitality. Requirements: • Event planning and management • Impeccable organisation skills • Project management skills, with a particular focus on timeline and dependency • Excellent people skills as you will be representing the business at key events/meetings and hospitality • A passion for customers and their experience with the buisiness • Experience in employee event and communications • Budget management responsibility • Negotiation skills (e.g. for supplier costs) • Relationship forming and networking skills and experience • The ability to turn a brief into a world class event • Excellent communication skills • Experience of working across senior stakeholders in an organisation • Highly motivated, flexible, enthusiastic, innovative and creative with required determination to achieve results through initiative • Thrives on a fast pace of work • MS Office suite capabilities Due to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application.
