Our client has a permanent vacancy for a Meetings & Events Administrator. This role will be varied, challenging and busy, covering a mix of administrative tasks and regular communication with colleagues. Working 37 hours per week, normally office hours but occasional outside of regular hours will be required on a very infrequent basis. The job • Answering emails, telephone calls, carrying out administrative tasks, face to face and online enquiries. • Booking and arranging catering for meetings and ensuring all correct paperwork is completed. • Taking and entering bedroom reservations for both venues • Liaising with finance, housekeeping and other departments as required • Allocating space for conferences, meetings and events on various booking platforms • Assisting with show rounds, meet and greet and preparation for conferences and weddings Requirements Combining a flexible approach and positive attitude, you should be comfortable dealing with people face to face and possess good administrative, communication and computer skills. Working as part of a team, you will assist in delivering a professional service for internal and external guests Due to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application.
