Our client has a permanent vacancy for a Finance Administrator to join their team. Main Responsibilities: • Maintain Bank/Cash ledgers accounts to also include employee float reconciliations • Maintain Sales ledger • Maintain Purchase ledger, Expenses and credit card approvals Tasks: • Bank/Cash (post daily bank and cash transactions, daily reconciliation of bank and cash accounts, monthly reconciliation of employee floats) • Sales ledger (credit control, debtor analysis and bad debt review/calculation, assist with weekly / monthly end sales reporting and analysis, escalate and report on Bad debt issues and prepare county court paperwork where necessary, assist with daily, weekly and monthly sales forecasting) • Purchase Ledger (obtain approval of purchase invoices and match approved purchase orders, post invoices to relevant cost centres, post stock invoices to SAP and agree to goods received, review and reconcile month end accounts to supplier statements, prepare monthly payments to suppliers, reconcile I/C accounts, administration, approval and posting to SAP of credit card and expense claims) • Customer/Supplier query resolution • Prepare Quarterly VAT calculations, and submit for approval/Payment • Prepare Monthly Intrastat reporting, EC sales and duty Deferment for Compliance • Maintain Fixed Asset Register and ensure in line with budgets • Prepare Slow Moving Stock reports and provide analysis to stakeholders • Assisting in the preparation of year end accounts and records for the Statutory audit • Assist the Finance manager with other month end tasks to include: GL reconciliations, prepayments calculations, accrual provisions, depreciation calculations, quarter end review of budget v’s costs, monthly journals, sales forecasting, management reports, annual budgets) Requirements • AAT qualifications (desirable) • At least 2 year’s professional experience in a similar role • SAP experience essential • Good Excel knowledge (to include Vlookups) • Good knowledge of Microsoft/Office 365 • Good eye for detail, can-do attitude, problem solving skills and a team player • Champion of continuous is improvement Due to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application.
