Account Director

Our client has a permanent opportunity for an Account Director to take full ownership of the strategy and subsequent delivery of the client programme. You will have overall management of a dedicated team (currently 7) in the delivery of campaigns via the programme platforms and supporting initiatives, including: coordination of supporting internal teams (creative & IT), 3rd party management, timely execution of agreed campaigns, work scheduling and campaign reviews. You will provide clear direction and motivation to the team with support provided to the wider business.

The role
Work with all team members of the account and within the business to ultimately deliver against the strategic direction of the programme and to develop new approaches to activities to differentiate from others in the marketplace
To liaise with other teams within the business to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects – events, IT, creative
Be creative whilst operating at an efficient and effective level to deliver and report against specific campaign goals
To maintain commercial focus
Deliver against agreed targets and KPIs relating to retention, delivery and revenue
Be data centric, utilising data sets to support the direction and measurement of the programme
Client relationship management – ensuring that the business reflect the client’s business, reflect programme objectives and drive innovation
Support the team in the creation, implementation and review of engaging campaigns
Internal and 3rd Party relationship management
Supportive of all team members to ensure consistent delivery across the team through providing clear direction
Be engaged and act as a role model
Financial control
Comply with all ISO and compliance operating standards

The Person
• Background in running complex and fast-moving campaigns, preferably with Retail experience
• Proven planning and delivery expertise
• Ability to work well within a close team and wider segment team
• Ability to interpret and present results at a strategic level
• Confident relationship builder
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Digitally and technology savvy and able to recognise where technology adds value
