Our award winning client has a vacancy for a Business Development Manager, ideally with sales promotions and rewards experience but essentially with great account management, client liaison and sales skills.
You will be a unique individual who can account manage, sell, liaise with clients, work with internal teams, go to meetings, hold conference calls. Whilst this role is very operational we are seeking a person who has ability to grow and develop into the role. For the right person, this is a great opportunity where career development and promotion prospects are excellent.
Role and requirements
- hold key account management skills
- be able to make outbound calls to prospects identified by a telemarketing team in order to close business
- be able to take incoming enquiries and provide the relevant information with a view to closing business.
- help with tenders which come into the business providing guidance and knowledge for pricing and product information
- be able to work as part of a team at times and on your own initiative
- will work with the ops teams to ensure smooth transition of new business wins
- manage existing client relationships
- stay cool and calm under pressure
- help with product development and grow our business through innovation
- attend industry events and feedback relevant information as required
- attend client roadshows at various times throughout the year
