Our client has a vacancy for a part-time credit Controller – approx. 10 hours a week, to join their busy Finance team. The position of Credit Controller is integral to the smooth running of the Finance Unit. You will need to be calm under pressure, well organised, have a keen attention to detail, an excellent telephone manner, a flexible approach and be able to cope with a variety of demands placed upon you. You will be tasked to actively chase ageing debts using all communication methods available, including maintaining detailed records of contact, payment arrangements and call back requests. Other duties include but are not limited to – • Taking payment over the telephone by card • Assisting with reconciling ledgers • Liaising with Solicitors and Legal Managers to discuss the matters • Ad hoc tasks as set by the Director of Finance Previous experience of credit control or as a credit controller is essential with good attention to detail and a methodical, organised work method. You must be IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. This is a busy & demanding role, suitable for someone with the tenacity to deliver an exceptional support service to the Unit.
