Our client has a vacancy for a Marketing and Business Development Assistant to join their close-knit, friendly Marketing and Business Development team on an 18 month Fixed Term Contract. The team are looking for a creative, ambitious and proactive individual who ideally has some previous experience in a marketing role and/or professional services. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an experienced team that will help you grow your knowledge and skills in marketing and business development in a busy and exciting law firm. Some of the things you can expect from this role: • Organising seminars and networking events across the firm including: creating and sending invitations, sourcing venues, managing bookings and overseeing events on the day • Managing and creating content for the firm’s social media accounts • Production of marketing materials e.g. brochures, team sheets, presentations • Website management e.g. uploading articles, making changes or additions to website content • Coordinating submissions for legal directories • Assisting with maintaining the firm’s marketing lists and CRM system This role is based in Milton Keynes with a day working from home each week. The job may require regular travel to both the Northampton and Leicester offices, therefore driving is a must. You will need some Knowledge of the following: • Events organisation • Website content management systems (CMS) • Email marketing • Social media • Microsoft office • Adobe InDesign and Photoshop Due to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application.
