HR Coordinator

Our client has a permanent vacancy for a HR Coordinator to support the HR Business Partners in the provision of advice and support on ER related matters across the business. You will demonstrate a high standard of professionalism and integrity, ensuring that compliance and best practice are always observed. The role The triage and provision of ER advice to Managers, escalating to HR Business Partners as required. Provide guidance to management on ER matters, performance management and Company policy and procedures. Ensuring these are tracked and HR Business Partners are informed. The production of ER letters for sickness absence reviews, AWOL letters, disciplinary and grievance invites and outcome letters. Improving, implementing and administrating HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation. Providing administrative support to the HR admin team as required, including the production of offers, confirmation of changes, processing terminations and the associated updating of the HRIS. Managing the maternity and paternity processes, producing acknowledgement and entitlement letters. Tracking Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, ensuring they have been instigated for relevant teammates, monitoring outcomes and liaising with Managers. Providing support in the delivery of new initiatives and policies. Monitor the probationary review process, to ensure compliance. Tracking absence, to support the HR Business Partners. Liaison with the Company uniform provider, authorising and dealing with any new requirements as they arise. The collation and ordering of department stationery. To oversee and assist in the development of the HR administrator. Requirements Ideally CIPD qualified to Level 3 or 5. At least 3 years’ experience of working and providing HR, with the ability to prioritise and multi-task. Good, current knowledge of employment legislation and proven experience of providing ER advice. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently and effectively communicate and engage with all levels. Great attention to detail. IT literate, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and computerised HRIS. Ability to work independently using own initiative, as well as part of a team.
