Our client operates within the legal sector and has a vacancy for a Part Time Accounts Assistant. Ideally, you will work 3.5hrs a day over 4 days and 4 hours on day 5, so a total of 18 hours a week. Role and Requirements • Processing of purchase ledger invoices on to the accounting system • Review of supplier statements and liaising with external suppliers relating to discrepancies • Preparation and processing of weekly payment runs • Supporting with the annual audit • Authorisation of client and office account payments • Preparation of prepayments • Assist with authorisation of staff expenses • Assist with file management such as closure of inactive matters You will need to have high academics in maths and English, ability to work within a pressurised environment and the confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels and to liaise with all parties both internal and external. Previous experience within an Accounts department in a legal firm is advantageous. Due to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application.
