Senior HR & Training Administrator

Our client has a permanent vacancy for a Senior HR and Training to be responsible for all administrative duties within the HR and Training admin function and supporting the HR team. Always demonstrating a high standard of professionalism and integrity, ensuring that compliance and best practice are always observed.

The Role

To complete all aspects of HR, recruitment, training and benefits administration
Manage the internal recruitment authorisation process to ensure compliance
Monitor Right to Work in the UK checks and ensuring full compliance
To complete all employee correspondence; new starter documents, probationary outcome letters, and leavers paperwork, ensuring attention to detail is paid to all areas
Ensure all onboarding and offboarding processes are followed in line with company policy
Complete all the necessary tasks to ensure all new employees are added to the payroll and training system, and any other job specific systems they require
To carry out pre-employment checks on new starters and complete reference requests for ex-employees
Liaising with line managers and HR managers to provide administrative support on ER letters for sickness absence reviews, AWOL letters, disciplinary/grievance invite and outcome letters
To assist line managers in ER related meetings, in the capacity of note taker and offering advice on HR related queries
To manage the probationary review process with line managers to ensure compliance
To manage the Maternity/Paternity process, sending acknowledgment and entitlement letters
Monitor and update sickness absence related issues
Monitoring the HR admin email inbox and manage the emails accordingly
Create and update electronic personnel files for new starters and leavers
To assist the HR Managers with updates to policy and procedures, using initiative where improvements and changes can be made
To maintain organisation charts when changes in departments occur
To oversee and assist in the development of junior administrators

At least 3 years HR administration experience
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good organisation and planning skills
Excellent communication, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently using own initiative
Always maintaining confidentiality

CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
Knowledge of ATS system
Knowledge and use of LMS systems
Previous responsibilities for line management
